Privacy Policy

This is a courtesy translation. The German version is legally binding.

This privacy policy applies to the marketing website am-i-compliant.eu. It does not cover the product app at app.am-i-compliant.eu. Information on processing there is provided in the app’s contractual documents, particularly the data processing agreement, and in our Trust Center.

Who is the controller?

Automaxity GmbH, An der Technologiewerkstatt 1, 72461 Albstadt, Germany.
Email: hello@automaxity.eu. Further details are available in the imprint.

What principles govern our processing of personal data?

We process personal data only to the extent necessary and on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legal bases are, in particular, Article 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract/pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interests) GDPR.

How are hosting and server log files handled?

When you access the website, our hosting provider automatically records information transmitted by your browser in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). This website is provided via Lovable Cloud. The provider is Lovable Labs Incorporated, 1 Lincoln St, Boston, MA 02111, USA, with the establishment Lovable Labs AB, Regeringsgatan 25, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden. As this is a company based in the USA, we rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses under Article 46(2)(c) GDPR for the transfer. This website operates no database or file storage. Your screening data is processed exclusively in the product app at app.am-i-compliant.eu, to which the privacy policy available there applies. An overview of all services used is available in our Trust Center.

Do we use cookies?

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies and do not create user profiles. Our hosting platform sets a technical session identifier that serves the operation of the website. We store whether you have dismissed the privacy notice in your browser’s local storage so that it does not appear on every visit.

How do we measure this website’s audience?

We use Pirsch Analytics from Emvi Software GmbH, Germany, with servers located in Germany. Pirsch operates without cookies and without cross-device recognition. To distinguish visits, a hash value is generated from the IP address, browser identifier, date and a changing random value. The IP address is neither stored nor logged, and recognition is possible for no more than 24 hours. No user profiles are created, and the data is not combined with other sources.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in data-minimising audience measurement to improve this website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may object to the processing at any time under Article 21 GDPR. Simply send a message to hello@automaxity.eu.

A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with Emvi Software GmbH. Processing takes place on servers in Germany. Hetzner Online GmbH is engaged as a subprocessor, with locations in Nürnberg and Falkenstein.

How can you contact us?

This website contains no contact form and does not itself send emails. If you write to us at hello@automaxity.eu, we process your information exclusively to handle your enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the message once the enquiry has been dealt with, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

What happens when you are redirected to the product app?

The free scan buttons redirect you to the product app at app.am-i-compliant.eu. Processing there is governed by the product app’s contractual documents, particularly the data processing agreement.

What rights do you have?

You have the right of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21), as well as the right to withdraw consent you have given. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (LfDI Baden-Württemberg) [State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg].

How is data transmitted securely?

Transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL (https).

When is this privacy policy updated?

We amend this privacy policy whenever changes to data processing make this necessary. The current version published on this page applies.
